The Daniel Clarke Foundation Board of Directors is comprised of a group of passionate, socially minded professionals who give their time freely to guide and manage the foundation to assist those who have athetoid cerebral palsy and their families;
Rodney Clarke, Director and Chairman of the Board
Rodney has significant experience with cerebral palsy as he is the father of Daniel Clarke. Apart from being a Certified Practicing Project Director with the Australian Institute of Project Managers, Justice of the Peace, Author and Olympian, Rodney writes an internationally respected blog for the Cerebral Palsy Alliance about the adventures and strains on being a father of a child with athetoid cerebral palsy. Within the foundation, Rodney’s focus is to maintain the strategic outlook of the Foundation and identify opportunities that will assist individuals and families whose children have athetoid cerebral palsy.
Tim Heinecke, Director
Tim is an accomplished educator and teacher at several high schools in Sydney and has been key in developing a mentor program which the NSW Government is evaluating for incorporating into school in NSW.
Denise Walsh, Director
An accomplished business woman, Associate Diploma Corporate Director, Justice of the Peace and second in charge of one of Australia largest metal fabrication companies, Denise’s experience provides responsible corporate governance to the Foundation.
Mark Guest, Auditor
As a practicing Chartered Accountant and Registered Tax Agent, Mark brings to the foundation his significant experience that has been gained from a career grounded in advising corporate, Government and not-for-profit organisations. As with all registered charities – taxation, audit and legal compliance is of key importance and Mark provides the foundation with valuable guidance in these areas.
